Squashskills is Peter Nicol and Jethro Binns. The idea behind the website is to give every squash player in the world access to world class coaching no matter where they are based. The first thoughts relating to the project were bounced around in August 2010 by Jethro and his former business partner. The concept at the time was to deliver aesthetically pleasing informative videos on youtube and try to generate cash through advertising. As time went on ideas evolved, the concept changed, friendships were lost, new ones were gained, world records were broken and a lot of time and money was invested. This became a labour of love with many hours sat in front of a computer screen creating what you see today. This website has not happened over night, it has been 2 years of hard work that I hope you will be able to take a great deal from. I feel very privileged to be working with Peter on this, if you had have given me a wish list of people that I could have worked with on the project his name would have been at the very top. He became fully involved in January 2012 when the concept finally came together over one too many beers. We finally realised how the different arms of the website fitted together after conversations with US based analysis software pioneers V1.

When we first started working together closely on the project we originally thought it would be us teaching our way of playing squash. However, having spent time at the British Open we could not believe the reception we got from top level players and coaches and quickly realised we had the opportunity to create something truly unique and incredible. We no longer want to create a website that is Jethro and Peter telling you how to play squash. We want to create a huge resource, a melting pot of ideas from the most respected names in Squash that you can pick and choose what information you want to use and take onboard. Ultimately we want 5000 videos in different languages from the best players and coaches around the world. We want to cover all topics for beginners who are picking a racket up for the first time right through to professional players who are looking to add that something extra to their game.
