Three National Champions!

Congratulations go to our South Australian ETS juniors who really excelled and showed the rest of the country how serious they are at the recent Australian Junior Championships in Perth. Alex Oswald was victorious in the boys U17 division, and Lauren Aspinall in the girls U17 (both top seeds).

Alex Haydon (seeded third girls U15) also claimed a finals win when she beat top seed and fellow South Australian, Lauren McInerney - a great finish for both girls.  After coming in second in 2013 Alex Haydon also won the MC Hazel award (best and fairest voted by referee’s coaches and team managers).

Special congratulations also go to Nimsari Weerasinghe, runner-up in the final of the girls U13 from her eighth seed start, Maaz Khatri runner-up boys U15, and Kate Winters who finished 3rd girls U13 at her first National tournament.

This has been South Australia’s best results for the individual event ever.
